Elderly clergyman Dr. Syn is one of the most respected members of a tiny coastal community, but few of the locals have any idea that Syn was once known to the world as Captain Clegg, a merciless swashbuckler who viciously defended his wife, Imogen. Unbeknown to his friends and neighbors, Syn is still masterminding a looting operation -- but this time he's using the stolen goods to improve his town.
